Git has risen to prominence over the last couple of years. One of its strengths is the simplicity of its design. Apart from the "C Git" that was originally written by Linus Torvalds there are implementations in various other languages. The Dulwich project is an implementation of the Git file formats and protocols in Python.

This talk will explain the architecture of Git while interactively looking at the internals of a repository using Dulwich.
