For the third year in row the Open Source Event T-DOSE will be held on 25 and 26th of October 2008. Just like last year the location is at the Fontys University of Applied Science.

Every day of the event the first talk is about licensing and how they interact with software development. Understanding Open Source licenses are key to every open source project or business using open source software. On saturday Ywein van de Brande and Arnoud Engelfriet will guide us through the demands of using GPL license. On sunday another FFE fellow Ciaran O'Riordan tells us about the "Dangers of DRM and software patents".

On saturday there is an entire Drupal track organized by the drupal community itself. In Track 1 there are talks about "Centos" by Dag Wieers, "VLC media player" by Jean-Paul Saman, "Open Source monitoring Tool Shootout" by Tom De Cooman and much more. See the schedule here online: http://www.t-dose.org/t-dose/schedule

On sunday Hand de Goede will tell us about his "video4linux user space library" project, Geert Dietger Hoffmann gives a presentation with his wiimote and there are much more interesting talks. See the schedule here online: http://www.t-dose.org/t-dose/schedule

In good tradition of Open Source events a social event will be held. It is still possible to register for it here: http://www.t-dose.org/t-dose/socialevent

The following open source projects will man a stand for answering questions about and for promoting their project.
* CentOS
* Debian
* Drupal
* OpenBSD
* OpenOffice.nl
* OpenTaal
* Rathaxes
* Syllable
* VideoLAN
* Wifisoft

I hope to see you all at T-DOSE this year.
