Hi I'm Jantje.
I started my career in 1992 as a programmer analyst. I was programming in C in windows 3.0 and continued doing so in C(++) in more recent windows versions. I grew my profile to analyst, architect, design authority and also played project manager on a few project.
But on all those projects I never had the possibilities to have a computer do something in the real world.

So when I found out about Arduino in 2009 I was so happy I could finally do things in the real world. My first project was a 3D scanning rig for David laser scanner.

As every new Arduinoer should do; I started with the Arduino IDE. As soon as I found out that the arduino language is actually C++ I started looking for alternative IDE's.
I found nothing that pleased me, so I started the Arduino eclipse plugin of which I first published the code in 2011 on https://github.com/jantje/arduino-eclipse-plugin.

Actually the plugin I developed is a side track of my homegrown industry level 4WD lawnmower. A real heavy duty robot called Marvin.
