
T-DOSE is a free and yearly event held in The Netherlands to promote use and development of Open Source Software. During this event Open Source projects, developers and visitors can exchange ideas and knowledge. This years event will be held on 26 and 27 October 2013 at the Fontys University of Applied Science in Eindhoven.
Shane Kerr
Shane is the BIND 10 Programme Manager at ISC.
He has been a programmer since 1993, working primarily in Unix systems. He has been involved with the Internet since 1997 when he began work at ARIN, followed by the RIPE NCC, ISC, and Afilias. His roles ranged from software engineering to management to user support.
His current role is organizing the effort to create BIND 10. This is the successor to BIND 9, which has been in production nearly 10 years and is used by 80% of DNS servers worldwide.
